The ZenBrain office is colorful, has cozy, modern furniture, a quaint sitting courtyard, fun books in the foyer, waiting room, restroom, session/assessment room, WiFi, and convenient parking. This space was created specifically and intentionally for clients and built for relaxation and connection!
When you book an appointment:
I incorporate technology into my practice to simplify the intake processes so that you are not spending time filling out forms and required documents in the office.
If we decide to work togehter you will be provided a link with a password to a highly secure "Client Portal" in which documents will be provided and will often require your eSignature. This clinician-specific practice platform offers you HIPAA-Secure web messaging, email, Telehealth Video sessions, invoicing, and Super Billing services,
During the first psychotherapy session I will gather information to increase my capacity to support your symptomatology, proactiveness for counseling, and identify your initial therapeutic goals. We will briefly discuss any questions you may have regarding our work together and solidify the session and private practice policies.
The primary goal of the first session is to make space for you to be heard. I understand that coming to an initial session may feel overwhelming or provoke a little anxiety due to the "unknown." I honor and acknowledge the part of you already showing resiliency and bravery by attending your first appointment. I encourage you to recognize and celebrate this personal care-taking! I want you to know this space is a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to begin your journey to self-rediscovery and healing.
Let's talk about your challenges, goals, what's interfering with your progress and how to move forward. So come in, grab a cozy seat, a cup of joe or tea, and let's collaborate!
